Here, Gilnor is still a Merman, only this time he and Halla live in a world where all kinds of Mythical beings are real; and all are persecuted by humans. Halla is a scientist in Mythological sentience, and with her best friend and research assistant Sloane, is fighting the system from within by putting together a paper which she hopes will change the world’s attitude towards Mythicals. Gilnor is brought to the military research facility where Halla and Sloane are based, having been in captivity for most of his adult life. He is naturally bitter and vicious, but Halla slowly befriends him and earns his trust.

Halla is one of the leading minds in the studies of Mythical beings - more accurately, their sentience. In her youth, she networked with like-minded people and protested the treatment of Mythicals in the world. She realised that her best chance for dismantling the status-quo was to attack it from within, and on finishing her doctorate joined the Inventio Institute with her best friend Sloane.

Notable Features: Scales are black with silver highlights. Pointed ears. Dark blue scales appear over his whole body when intensely amorous. His voice can influence other beings and control water. Scars all over his body from his years of captivity.
